Cassandra Paniagua is an Associate Attorney at the Law Office of Karen Winston where she focuses on removal/deportation defense. She represents clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the Immigration Courts.
Cassandra Paniagua graduated from FSU law in May 2018. Originally from Clewiston, Florida, she earned a dual bachelor’s degree in criminology and sociology with a minor in communication studies from the University of Florida. Cassandra participated in the Public Interest Law Center throughout law school where she worked at the Children’s Advocacy Clinic, representing children in a variety of cases ranging from disability to immigration to education. Cassandra also clerked for Disability Rights Florida, worked on the Healthcare Access Project, participated in the Alternative Spring Break Program, and clerked for multiple immigration law firms during law school. For her dedication to pro bono representation, Cassandra received the distinguished pro bono certificate. Cassandra is fluent in Spanish and is licensed to practice law by the Florida Bar.
